Where is the event?

Contemporary Wine Indesign 2016 is scheduled as a day of diverse offerings across the CBD, Northbridge, Claremont/Nedlands, West Perth and Subiaco.

What time does it start?

CWID 2016 runs Saturday 15 October. The opening hours are as follows:
10am – 6pm.

How does the event work?

On Saturday 15 October, Contemporary Wine Indesign (CWID) will offer more than 2, 000 architects, interior designers, specifiers, design students, industry professionals, project developers and design hunters a new complimentary way to connect with the industry.

Wine In Design by Contemporary invites you to enjoy Western Australia’s, newest design showrooms in the heart of the capital. In collaboration with creators of food, fashion, jewellery and fine art, Wine In Design is an immersive and expertly curated exploration of the best that Perth’s growing design community has to offer.

Bringing to Perth a range of heated topical industry talks, designer guests, live events, butting-edge demonstrations, installations and entertainment, Wine In Design is going to be something quite unlike anything you’ve seen before. You may think you know what a “design event” is. Well, think again. Team Indesign is about taking it to the street and bringing the design experience back to the city. You can expect innovative installations, hot-topic debates, and a complete immersion in the design lifestyle of Perth.

How do I get around?

Walkable design trails in Northbridge, Claremont/Nedlands, Subiaco and West Perth are an easy way of navigating the event on Saturday. In addition to our walking trails, our free Indesign shuttle buses will be travelling between each precinct on the day, all day.

All trails and bus routes will be available via the handbook, which can be picked up from any event location on the day.

You just need to pre-register online or at any participating venue on the day. Registration is quick and free, and if you register online now, you ill skip the queue on event day, receive a personalised visitor pass plus early bird registrations will go in the running to win some fabulous prizes.

What does registration include?

Registration serves as your all-access-pass to CWID. It gives you entry to all of the showrooms ad their on-day activities and entertainment. It also gives you free travel, serving as your all-day transit pass on our CWID buses. If you register early, you’ll even go in the running to win some fabulous prizes.

Can I register on the day?

Yes.

You can register at any participating venue on the day, although we do encourage guests to register online pre-event – Early registration means you will skip the queue on the day, we’ll be able to personalise your visitor pass and you will be in he running for some very well designed prizes.

Can I register my whole office?

You can register yourself with a group of up to ten colleagues. To do this, simply complete the ‘Group Registration’ form on the Contemporary Wine Indesign registration page.

Can I bring other people?

Yes.

Your guests will need to register at the first venue you attend. This is free and will give them access to all the showrooms and their timed events, as well as free all-day travel on the CWID buses. However, we do encourage everyone to register online pre-event – You will skip the queue on the day, we’ll be able to personalise your visitor pass, and each registration goes in the running o win fabulous prizes.
