As one of WA’s forerunners in A+D, Contemporary is excited to announce that Retreat Design will be joining forces with Contemporary Wine In Design as an Official Exhibitor, this October 15th.

Join us at the Retreat Design showroom for the best in Italian design available in Western Australia. Celebrating Italian style and design throughout the day accompanied by regional cheese and wine, Team Retreat Design is also bringing hands-on displays and demonstrations from local kitchen partners.

Retreat Design is proud to sponsor Andrea Santantonio’s visit to Australia to celebrate the story of Italian cabinetry and its application in Western Australian homes.

Responsible for the worldwide sales and distribution of Arrital Cucine, Andrea Santantonio will be giving a series of design talks sharing with CWID his passion and experience with Italian-made cabinetry.

Here’s a little taste on what’s being served up on the day:

11am: Kitchen Cabinetry Technology

Technology is continually improving to give the end consumer an even better experience in their home. We discuss the future of the ‘kitchen’ and how technology is shaping this.

1pm: Design News from Europe

Discover the latest design trends coming out of EuroCucina 2016 (Milan). Andrea and our senior designer Kelly were both there and are excited to be sharing their experiences at this year’s fair with the local Perth design community.

2pm: What it Means to be 100% “Made In Italy”

Andrea will be discussing the certification process for the prestigious ‘100% Made in Italy’ badge and how this provides for a best practise, high quality kitchen finish.

Arrital is among the few brands in Italy to have been granted the 100% Made in Italy production Certificate following a strict examination of its production facilities. The Certificate, issued by the Institute for the Protection of Italian Producers allows the company to guarantee for the Italian origin and quality of its kitchens as well as for Altamarea bathrooms.
